Technicolor Vision

Our experience of space is continually becoming more and more privatized. We travel in the small private space of a car, live in a climate controlled house/apartment, and walk from place to place with a private soundtrack in our ears via iPod earbuds, etc. In the future vision may come to be a private experience as well. By modifying vision one can selectively choose what and what not to see (for example: parts of the field of vision taken up by ads are replaced by images of your bank balance), highlight important images in the scenery, accentuate the visual world to one’s stylistic liking; there are an infinite number of applications. Technicolor Vision experiments with the use of visual filters to represent social networking data.
